Clark Residence (Frankfort, Indiana)
An addition to a mid-19th century cabin family homestead that housed a new generation of Clarks. The design’s scale, configuration, forms, and finish respected the historic cabin and created the family’s common and private spaces.

Dean Proctor Design Studio (Madison, Wisconsin)
An addition to the Proctor residence added creative space to a small house. The studio is filled with north light and includes built-in bookshelves, half bathroom, full height ceilings, and a small deck to the backyard.

“Synthesis” University of Iowa (College of Pharmacy)
A plaza space and feature (co-designed with Actual Size Artworks) acting as the forecourt for the University of Iowa’s College of Pharmacy. Designed as a symbol of discovery and the potential for nature as the source of healing and inspiration. The plaza also offers a place for students and faculty to gather, work, reflect, and rest. The themed public art is approached by tapered walkways and wrapped with landscaped beds of medicinal plants.

“Sown” Minnesota State University - Moorhead
Using acorns and oak trees metaphors, a unique campus gathering area at the heart of the Minnesota State University at Moorhead campus mall (conceptualized and co-designed with Actual Size Artworks) creates a place for students to rest, study, assemble, and people watch.

Lowell School Campus Master Plan
A campus master plan including a natural playground, a vegetable garden, learning circles, a bike “harbor”, a greeting place, and a flowing landscape bed. New trees, shrubs, and turf between hard and softscape playgrounds grew out of a need and desire to get children outside to learn, move and play.

Holy Wisdom Monastery Campus Courtyard
A collection of studies, master plan guiding principles, site development and design concepts. With this design project we protected restored prairies, savannas, sacred landscapes and outdoor spaces, guided multiple site improvements, and enhanced user experiences.
